On July 2nd the event organized under the SAFER project together with BAZK, the National center for transfusion hematology, association “Angels on the road”, Foundation “Stefan Stefanov”, Foundation “Love is the key” and other supporters was a success, shared with the numerous people who came to donate blood for victims of heavy traffic accidents at the beginning of the summer – the period with the most accidents of this kind.
We presented the people who came with gratitude certificates, with gifts and with information on the main project results – the training programme and the collection of stories from traffic accidents.
The Bulgarian national radio, BNT, BTV and Nova TV came to take interviews and report on the event and we are ever so grateful for their empathy and cooperation.
This event marked the beginning of a tradition, which will hopefully lead to saved lives and changed minds.
