With great success and warm response from the public, the participation of the Road Safety Institute (R.S.I.) “Panos Mylonas” at the EKO Service Park in Lamia was carried out, as part of this year’s EKO Acropolis Rally 2025.
The activity took place from Friday, June 27 to Sunday, June 29, in collaboration with Nea Odos and Kentriki Odos – Road Safety and Environmental Protection Sponsors of the event.
During the Institute’s presence in the specially designed area of the Service Park, more than 1,300 visitors had the opportunity to experience first-hand the innovative equipment simulating dangerous driving conditions and to be informed in an experiential and interactive way about critical Road Safety issues.
At the same time, the European Erasmus+ programme SAFER BEHIND THE WHEEL was presented, aiming to raise awareness — especially among young drivers — about the risks of driving under the influence of alcohol and psychoactive substances.
