Zavod VOZIM brings the SAFER project to Slovenian schools

Zavod VOZIM have been carrying out preventive workshops across Slovenian primary and secondary schools for many years. In these workshops, their ambassadors – people who were injured in traffic accidents – share their powerful personal stories with young people and raise awareness about the importance of safe mobility.

As part of these efforts they also introduce the SAFER project to students, with the aim of encouraging responsible behavior in traffic, reducing risks, and promoting a culture of safety among youth.

A special highlight was the event “In memory of traffic accidents victims,” which took place on November 19, 2024, in Ljubečna, Slovenia. The event was dedicated to remembering those who lost their lives in road accidents. One of ZV ambassadors took the stage not only to share their personal experience but also to present the SAFER project, reinforcing the importance of prevention and education in creating safer roads for everyone.

Through lived experience, honest storytelling, and active participation in European initiatives like SAFER, ZV strive to inspire young people and contribute to a safer and more responsible traffic culture.
