Two students from the local math and science school “Acad. Nikola Obreshkov” gave us their feedback about what their expectations had been before our events on the 10 Nov and what the impact really was.
“I expected to see something like ‘fasten your seatbelts, drive within the limits’. I certainly didn’t expect the crash videos, the people’s stories and the different points of view. The fact that they showed us the crash clips themselves and the dangers of not wearing a seatbelt taught us to wear our seatbelts, no matter how much we don’t want to. I came to the conclusion that dashcams are a very useful thing and the recordings from them can in some cases save lives.”
Anastasia, 18 years old, future driver
“The lecture was well structured and attracted the attention of even those children who generally don’t listen in class. There were things like scales that show how much your body would weigh in a head-on collision at 90 km/h. The breathalyzers are very interesting, although they only show up to 0.8 per mille.
If we get together somewhere, after we finish the evening, before we go home, we will test each other to see how drunk we are. There is such a competition on TikTok among teenagers “Who is the drunkest”. There are such videos there “Hello, this is the beginning of the evening and this is my first glass of the evening”. Next is a video of the last phase of the same person – drunk, on all fours, wallowing in the bushes.”

We are so grateful for this feedback and are happy that the young people are taking our messages seriously.
We all depend on each other in order to be safe on the road!
