SAFER with an awareness and blood donation event on 2nd July 2025

The event is organized in connection with the SAFER Behind the wheel project, supported by the Erasmus+ program and, in addition to blood donation, aims to raise awareness about harmful driving practices in order to make Bulgaria’s roads safer.

All those who wish to join the initiative and learn more about the SAFER project and its results are welcome. It is good to remember that:

• Donating blood is fast, safe, and useful.

• Blood donation stimulates the process of blood cell renewal and increases the body’s defenses.

• 450 ml. donated blood saves three human lives.

• Quantitatively, blood is restored in less than 24 hours. Qualitatively – in three to four weeks. 60 days is the minimum period between two blood donations.

• Rare is the blood group, which is in critical availability at a time of emergency.

After donating blood, everyone gets the opportunity to check the results of the tests using a digital code at www.ncth.bg

If you are a healthy person between the ages of 18 and 65 and have the opportunity to spare about an hour from your hectic everyday life, please come, lend a hand and donate blood. Help a victim of a car crash!
